A quadratic polynomial is in the form

x² - (sum off zeroes) x + (products ct of zeroes)

 {x}^{2} - \frac{1}{4} x + ( - 1)

 \frac{1}{4} (4 {x}^{2} - x - 4)

4 {x}^{2} - x - 4

is the polynomial.
