FIND A QUADRATIC POLYNOMIAL WITH ZEROS AT x=1/4 & x= -1 tomorrow exam plz answer quickly

if the roots of a quadratic equation are m and n,
then the quadratic polynomial can be written as
x² - (m+n)x + mn = 0
x²+3/4x--1/4=0
or 
4x²+3x-1=0

if the zeroes of a quadratic polynomial are a and b, then the quadratic polynomial is given by (x-a)(x-b).

here, the zeroes are 1/4 and -1. So the polynomial is

(x- \frac{1}{4}) (x-(-1))\\ \\(x- \frac{1}{4}) (x+1)\\ \\ x(x+1)- \frac{1}{4}(x+1)\\ \\ x^{2} +x- \frac{1}{4}x- \frac{1}{4}\\ \\ x^{2} + \frac{3}{4} x - \frac{1}{4}
