As the numerators and the denominators of both the numbers are different . We will have to find the LCM of the denominators ,

Firstly , tale the LCM of denominators that is , 3 and 4 ,

LCM of 3 and 4 =  12

Then multiply the numerator and the denominator of the first number with 4

And multiply the numerator and the denominator of the second number with 3

then the required numbers you get is = -4\12 and 3\12

Now we have many rational numbers b\w the 2 numbers so obtained = -1\12 ,-2\12, -3\12, 1\12, 2\12  and so on
