the LCM of -2/3and 1/4 is 12
to makes the denominator equal we multiply -2/3 by 4 both numerator and denominator and 1/4 by 3.
we get -8/12and 3/12
so, the rational no. between -2/3 and 1/4 are
1/12,2/12,-7/12,-6/12...
