At first,

We have to make the denominator of the two rational numbers equal by finding the LCM.

LCM of 4 and 5 = 20

Now,

  =  > \frac{ - 3}{4}  \times  \frac{5}{5}  =  \frac{ - 15}{20}

&

 =  >  \frac{ - 2}{5}  \times  \frac{4}{4}  =  \frac{ - 8}{20}

Rational numbers between \frac{-3}{4}(\frac{-15}{20}) and \frac{-2}{5}(\frac{-8}{20}) are :-

 \frac{ - 9}{20} , \frac{ - 10}{20} , \frac{ - 11}{20} , \frac{ - 12}{20} , \frac{ - 13}{20} , \frac{ - 14}{20}

So, 1 rational number between \frac{-3}{4}(\frac{-15}{20}) and \frac{-2}{5}(\frac{-8}{20}) is :-

 \frac{ - 11}{20}

Hope it helps....
