Question :

Answer :

First of all make the denominators same .

• Take their LCM ( Least Common multiple )

The LCM is 40 .

Now , the numbers are

 \frac{15}{40}  \: and \:  \frac{16}{40}

Now multiply both numbers by 10 . ( Both numerator and denominator )

 \frac{150}{400}  \: and \:  \frac{160}{400}

Now , there are many rational numbers between them .

You can write any one .

I am writing

 \frac{151}{400}

You can write anyone .

There are infinite rational numbers between them .

Rational numbers are those numbers which are in the form of p/q where both p and q must be integers and q≠0 .
