to \: find

find Rational number between

1) -5 & -6

2)

 \frac{ - 8}{11} and \:  \frac{ - 7}{11}

solution

*( Rational number = All counting number which can be written in the form of p/q where q is non zero number.

example = 1 , 2 , 3 e.t.c.. )

1) -5 & -6

Multiplying both side by 10.

therefore,

-5 * 10 = -50

-6 * 10 = -60

Now , Rational number between -50 & -60 is

-51,-52 ,-53,-54,-55,-56,-57,-58,-59

2)

 \frac{ - 8}{11} and \:  \frac{ - 7}{11}

Multiplying both side by 10.

therefore,

 \frac{ - 8}{11}  \times  \frac{10}{10}  =  \frac{ - 80}{110}

 \frac{ - 7}{11}  \times  \frac{10}{10}  =  \frac{ - 70}{110}

Now , Rational number between

 \frac{ - 8}{11}  \: and \:  \frac{ - 7}{11}  \: is

 \frac{ - 71}{110}  \:   \frac{ - 72}{110}   \: \frac{ - 73}{110 }  \:  \frac{ - 74}{110}  \:  \frac{ - 75}{110}  \frac{ - 76}{110}  \:   \frac{ - 77}{110}  \:  \frac{ - 78}{110}  \:  \frac{79}{110}
