11/8 roughly equals 1.4

so, we have to find a rational number between 1.4 and 2

this is a simplified definition of rational numbers

any number which has a repeating decimal part or ending decimal part, is a rational number

example,

1.5

1.7777777777777 ....

1.98765432 98765432 98765432 ...............

but 1.897867826748326478358348578437893475............ is not correct because it is not rational (neither ending nor repeating)

please rate this answer 5 star, and say a thanks (to make my day a little bit better) mark as the brainliest if possible
