Solution :-

Step : 1 firstly take L.C.M of 3 and 2

L.C.M of 3 and 2 = 3 × 2

= 6

Step 2 Make the fraction's equivalent.

• $\dfrac{1}{3}$ = $\dfrac{1×2}{3×2}$ = $\dfrac{2}{6}$

• $\dfrac{1}{2}$ = $\dfrac{1×3}{2×3}$ = $\dfrac{3}{6}$

Step : 3 Now , it becomes like fractions, now multiply both by 2

• $\dfrac{2}{6}$ = $\dfrac{2×2}{6×2}$ = $\dfrac{4}{12}$

• $\dfrac{3}{6}$ = $\dfrac{3×2}{6×2}$ = $\dfrac{6}{12}$

Rational number between them are :-

• $\dfrac{5}{12}$
