Putting the value of y = 2 in equation (1).

= 2√2x - 3 x 2 + 4

= 2√2x - 6 + 4

Moving 2√2x in L.H.S.

Then,

2√2x = -2

Cancelling 2 in both sides.

Then, √2x = -1

x = -1/√2
