Find (a) the area (b) the perimeter of the square PQRS if (i) PQ=QR=20 cm

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER FRIEND,

GIVEN : A SQUARE PQRS WHERE,

PQ = QR = 20 CM

TO FIND

a) THE AREA

==> AREA OF SQUARE = (SIDE) ²

==> (20)²

==> 400 CM²

NOW,

PERIMETER OF GIVEN SQUARE,

==> 4 X (SIDE)

==> 4 X 20

==> 80 CM

Here in a spare PQRS ,
PQ=QR=RS=SP=20cm
The area of square =side×side
area = 20×20
= 400cm
it's perimeter = 4×side
=4×20= 80 cm
