Given :

  • A.P = - 9 , - 14 , - 19 .......

  • First term ( a ) = - 9

  • Common difference ( d ) = - 5

To Find :

  • 30th term of the A.P

  • 20th term of the A.P

Solution :

30th term of the A.P

A₃₀ = a + 29d

A₃₀ = - 9 + 29 × ( - 5 )

A₃₀ = - 9 - 145

A = - 154

________________________________

20th term of the A.P

A₂₀ = a + 19d

A₂₀ = - 9 + 19 × ( - 5 )

A₂₀ = - 9 - 95

A₂₀ = - 104
