Let the resistance be R1,R2,R3...R5

○R1 and R2 are connected in series,

Thus R12=5+5=10 ohm.

○R4 and R5 are in series as well,

Thus R45=1+3=4 ohm.

Now the resistance R12,R3,R45 are in parallel, thus

1/Rp= (R3*R45+R12*R45+R12*R3)/R12*R3*R45

1/Rp= (32+40+80)/10*8*4

1/Rp= 152/320

1/Rp=0.475 ohm

To find total current, we know that

I=V/Rp

=> 5*0.475

=> 2.375 amp
