∴The original number is 10x+y

If digits are reversed, it becomes 36 less than original number.

reversed number =10y +x

⇒(10x+y) - (10y+x) = 36

⇒ 9x -9y = 36

⇒ x= 4+y ---------------------equation 1

x+y = 12 --------------------------- equation 2

Now by substituting,

⇒4+2y =12

⇒ 2y = 8

∴ y =4

∴ x=8
