To find a vector in the direction of resultant of two vectors, first we need to find the direction of the resultant vector and multiply it with the magnitude.

NOTE:-

FORMULA TO FIND DIRECTION :-

Let A and B be two vectors and the angle between them be beta and the resultant makes an angle alpha with any one of the vectors then, direction can be given by the following formula

 \tan( \alpha )  =  \frac{Bsin \beta }{A + B \cos( \beta ) }

When you get the direction , you can find out the magnitude even and multiply them to get a vector quantity.
