Let a and d are first term and common difference of an A.P
nth term = an = a + ( n - 1 ) d
a11 = a + 10d
a7 = a + 6d
a11 + a7 = a + 10d + a + 6d
= 2a + 16d
= 2a + 16 × 4 ( d= 4 given )
= 2a + 64
