Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

AS WE KNOW,a^2 + b^2 = (a +b)^2--2 ab

So

STP

(a+b)^2-2ab=5

(11^1/2)^2-2ab=5 (putting value of a+b)

=> 11-2ab= 5

=>-2ab=5-11

=>-2ab=-6

=>2ab=6

=>ab=6/2=3 (answer)

a+b= route 11 and a^2 + b^2=5 then (a+b)^2= a^2+b^2+2ab is 11= 5+2ab 11-5=2ab 6 = 2ab then 3 = ab
