Answer:

Since, ABC is a right angled triangle,

By Pythagoras Theorem,

h²= b² + p²

h²= 20² + 15⁵

h²= 400 + 225

h²= 625

h= √ 625

h= 25

Therefore, h = AC = 25 cm

Since, ADC is a right angled triangle,

h²= b² + p²

25²= 24² + CD²

CD²= 25² - 24²

CD²= 625 - 576

CD² = 49

CD = √ 49

CD = 7
