Given :

d = 200 km,

R = 6400 km,

g = 9.8 m/s²

To find :

acceleartion due to gravity = gd = ?

Solution :

 g_{d} = (1 -  \frac{d}{r} ) \times g \\  = (1 -  \frac{2000}{6400} ) \times 9.8 \\  = (1 - 0.3125) \times 9.8 \\  = 6.738 \: m/ {s}^{2}

The acceleration due to gravity at the depth of 2000 km from the earth surface is 6.738 m/s²
