Solution :-

Here,

Force on the body = 20 Newton

Mass of the body = 5 kg

Let the acceleration be x

Now,

As we know that,

Force = Mass * Acceleration

20 = 5 * x

20 = 5x

x = 20/5

x = 4

Thus, The acceleration is 4 m/s^2

Some important terms :-

Force = Force is defined as push or pull on an object with mass that causes it to change in velocity.

• Acceleration :- It is the rate of change in velocity.

• Mass is the quantitiative measure of inertia

• SI unit of force is Newton

• SI unit of acceleration is m/s^2

• SI unit of mass is kg .

Given,

  • The Force = 20N
  • The Mass = 5 kg

To Find,

  • The Acceleration

Solution,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

→ 20N = 5kg × Acceleration

→ (20kgm/s²)/5kg = Acceleration

→ 4m/s² = Acceleration

Required Answer,

If,

The Mass is 5kg.

And,

The Force is 20N.

So,

The Acceleration is Equals to 4m/
