Answer:

mass of first body=F/a=10/5=2kg

mass of second body=10/2=5kg

when tied together, total mass=5+2=7

acceleration=F/M=10/7=1.43m/s^2

Answer:

Given that,

Force applied(F)= 10 N

Mass of Object(m)= 5 kg

We know that,

Force applied on an object is equal to the product of mass and acceleration produced due to the applied force.

i.e.

Force= mass×acceleration(a)

F= m×a

Therefore,

a= F÷m

\implies \: a = ( \frac{10}{5} )m/ {sec}^{2}

a= 2 m/sec²

Therefore, Acceleration produced in the object,

a=2 m/sec²
