To Find :

  • we need to find acceleration.

Given :

  • Force applied = 10N
  • Mass = 5kg

We know that,

  \huge \underline{\boxed{ \pink{ \bf \: F = ma}}}

where,

  • F = Force
  • m = mass
  • a = acceleration

By using this formula :-

⟶ F = ma

⟶ a = F/m

⟶ a = 10/5

⟶ a = 2m/s²

Hence,

  • Acceleration is 2m/

Some more information :

Acceleration :- Acceleration of a body is defined as the rate of change of velocity per unit time.

\tt{Acceleration=\frac{Change\: in \:Velocity}{Time \:taken}}

  • Acceleration = (V - u)/t
  • V = final velocity
  • u = initial velocity
  • t = time

  • SI unit of acceleration is m/.

Force :- push or pull on a body is called force.

  • F = ma
  • SI unit of force is Newton

Mass :- The mass of a body is the quantity of matter or matter obtained in it.

  • SI unit of mass is kg
  • Mass is a scaler quantity.

In this Case

Given

  • Force (F) = 10 N
  • Mass (m) = 5

To Find

  • Acceleration

Calculating Acceleration

Formula Used :- F = m × a

Substituting Values

☞ 10 = 5 × a

☞ 10 = 5a

☞ 5a = 10

☞ a = 10/5

☞ a = 2

Therefore, we got Acceleration 2 m/s²

Additional Information

  • Acceleration is the rate of Change of velocity per unit time
  • SI unit of Acceleration is m/s²
  • Force is defined as a Push or Pull
  • SI unit of Force is Newton & is denoted by N
  • The mass of a body is the quantity of matter obtained
  • SI unit of mass is kg
