Given:

p = 22

one side = 6

Now, as we know, opposite sides of parallelograms are equal, so we can infer that two sides are 6cm:

And perimeter is the sum of all sides =

22 = 2(6) = 2(x)

2x = 22 - 2(6)

2x = 22 - 12

2x = 10

x = 5

So the other two sides will be 5 cm each

Given:

perimeter of a parallelogram = 22 cm

one side of parallelogram = 6 cm

To find :

The adjacent side of a parallelogram

Solution:

Now, as we know, opposite sides of parallelograms are equal, so we can infer that two sides are 6cm:

And

We know that the formula of perimeter is

perimeter is the sum of all sides

So we get

22 = 2(6) = 2(x)

 2x = 22 - 12

2x = 10

x = 5

So the other two sides will be 5 cm each.
