p(x) 2x⁴ -3x³ -3x² +6x -2
Given Zeroes √2 and -√2
- x= -√2 → (x+√2) is a factor of p(x)
- x= √2 → (x-√2) is a factor of p (x)
Now,
(x+√2)(x-√2) = x² - (√2)²
= x²-2
x²-2 is also a factor of p(x)
2x-1 = 0 | x-1=0
| x= 1
