Step-by-step explanation:

let, p(x)= 2x4+x3-14x2-19x-6

a=2 and b= -2 (alpha and beta)

a+b= 0

a*b= -4

therefore, x2-(a+b)x+ab

                 x2-0x-4 (make the sign of zero positive for easier calculation)

                 x2+0x-4= g(x)

do long division and it will go exactly in p(x). (that is, you will get zero)

the quotient you get should be factorized through splitting the middle term method.

you will get 2 more zeroes, hence,

the zeroes of the polynomial is 2, -2 and the 2 zeroes you get.

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU...

ainahamlyn: i did not see -1 as the zero...please change the numbers in the calculation and you will get the answer right
