To Find:

  • all the zeroes of x^3+3x^2-2x-6

Solution:

Let the factors be x+√2 and x-√2

(x +  \sqrt{2} )(x -  \sqrt{2} ) =  {x}^{2}  - 2

Note: Please refer to attachment for division

Therefore the remaining factor is x+3

g(x) = x + 3 \\ 0 = x + 3 \\  \boxed{x = ( - 3)}

Therefore, √2,-√2 and (-3) are zeroes of polynomial x^3+3x^2-2x-6
