p(x) = 4x^4 - 20x^3 + 23x^2 + 5x - 6
2 and 3 are zeroes of p(x)
alpha=2
beta=3
alpha+beta= 2+3 = 5
alpha*beta=2*3= 6
x^2-(alpha + beta)x + alpha*beta <------ formula
x^2-5x+6
divide 4x^4 - 20x^3 + 23x^2 + 5x - 6 by x^2-5x+6
x²-5x+6 ) 4x*4-20x³+23x²+5x-6 ( 4x²-1
4x*4-20x³+24x²
-----------------------
-x²+5x-6
-x²+5x-6
--------------------
0
splitting the middle term of 4x²-1
4x² = 1
x² = 1 /4
x² = 1/2 and -1/2
the zeroes other than 2 and 3 are 1/2 and -1/2
