 px = {x}^{2}  - px + q \\  {x}^{2}  - 2px + q  = 0 \\ a = 1 \\ b  = 2p\\ c = q \\  \alpha  +  \beta  =- 2p ........eq(1) \\  \alpha  \beta  =q.......eq(2) \\
Now according to the question we have to find
 { \alpha }^{2}  +  { \beta }^{2}
 =  > { (\alpha  +  \beta )}^{2}  - 2 \alpha  \beta  \\  =  > from \: eq \: 1 \: and \: 2 \\  =  >  {( - 2p)}^{2} - 2q \\  =  > 4 {p}^{2}   - 2q \\  =  > 2(2 {p}^{2}  - q)
