Given :-

  • Area of Trapezium = 65cm²
  • First Parallel Side = 13cm
  • Second Parallel Side = 26cm

 \\  \\

To Find :-

  • Height of the Trapezium

 \\  \\

Solution :-

 {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{  Area \:of\: Trapezium\: =\:   \dfrac{1}{2} \: \times \: Height \: \times \:  Sum  \: of  \: Parallel  \: Sides}}\\ \\  {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{  65\: =\:   \dfrac{1}{2} \: \times \: Height \: \times \: ( \: 13 \:  +  \: 26 \: )}} \\ \\   {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{  65\: =\:   \dfrac{1}{2} \: \times \: Height \: \times \: 39}} \\  \\  {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{  65\: \times  \: 2 \:  = \: Height \: \times \: 39}} \\  \\ {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{  130\:  = \: Height \: \times \: 39}} \\  \\ {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{  \dfrac{130}{39}  \:  = \: Height }} \\  \\  {:} \longrightarrow \sf \boxed{\bf{ 3.3cm \: \:  = \: Height }} \\  \\

GIVEN :-

*Area of Trapezium = 65cm²

*First Parallel Side = 13cm

*Second Parallel Side = 26cm

Height of trapezium = ?

Area of Trapezium = 1/2 * Height * (sum of the parallel sides)

65 cm² = 1/2 * Height * (13+26)

65 = 1/2 * Height * 39

65 * 2 = Height * 39

130 = Height * 39

Height = 130/39

Height = 3.3 cm

HENCE, HEIGHT OF THE GIVEN TRAPEZIUM IS 3.3 CM.
