We have to find the charge in 0.056g of Fe if 20% of electrons are removed.

solution : you know, charge is developed in a body when we add or remove electrons from that body.

if charge is removed, charge must be developed on the body is positive and it is equal in magnitude of charge of removed electrons.

so, charge in Fe = 20% of total electrons in 0.056 g of Fe.

number of electrons in 0.056 g of Fe = no of moles of Fe × atomic no × Avogadro's number

= 0.056/56 × 26 × 6.023 × 10²³

= 10¯³ × 26 × 6.023 × 10²³

= 156.598 × 10²⁰

= 1.56598 × 10²²

now charge in Fe = 20% × 1.56598 × 10²² × 1.6 × 10^-19

= 20/100 × 1.56598 × 1.6 × 10³

= 0.5 × 10³

= 500 C

Therefore charge in Fe is 500 C (approx).
