To find:

           an expression for the nth term of an infinite sequence, whose first four terms are 1,1/4,1/9,1/16

solution:

         here,

                a=1\\d=t_2-t_1=\frac{1}{4}-1=\frac{-3}{4}  \\

                 l=

    ∴n=(\frac{l-a}{d})+1

n=(\frac{infinity-1}{\frac{-3}{4} } )+1\\\\n=(\frac{infinity-1}{-12})+1\\\\n=\frac{infinity-1+1}{-12+1} \\\\n=\frac{infinity}{-11}

∴n=∞/-11
