Find and area of the rhombus whose perimeter is 200 m and of the diagonal is 80 cm

if perimeter is 200m then the length of each side will obviously 200/4m which is 50m (as a rhombus has all sides equal). The diagonal 0.8m divides the rhombus into two triangles. Now applying the Heron's formula we get the area of one of these triangles as ,
√50.4×49.6 + 50.4×0.4 + 50.4×0.4 m^2
which results to √249984m^2=approx.500m^2. As there are two triangles, the total area of the rhombus will be 500×2m^2=1000m^2
