Compressibility of a liquid is higher than that of solid but less than gas.

Take a balloon fill it with your exhaled air , then take another balloon put water inside it , and take another balloon put some sand inside it.

then try to compress it i.e. apply force from either side.

 you will infer that it is easier to compress the balloon filled with your exhaled air and you will find little difficulty in compressing the balloon filled with water and at last you will find that it is very difficult to compress the balloon filled with sand at all

note don't apply excess fore on the balloon it may brust
