Solution -

Let the angle ( mentioned in above question ) be x.        _ (1)

We know if 2 angles are supplementary the add up to 180°

So x + other angle = 180°

other angle = 180° - x                        _ (2)

According to given case in the question , the equation will be -

x = 4 ( 180° - x )              ( From (1) and (2) )

x = 720° - 4x                  ( By distributive property )

x + 4x = 720°

5x = 720°

x = 144°

∴ The missing angle is 144°.

in the following question find angle which four times of its supplement so we will divide 180 degree by 4 so answer is 45 so if we multiply 45 into 4 answer will be 180
