so, time period of minute hand ,
T = 3600 sec so, angular velocity ,
ω = 2π/T = 2π/3600 = π/1800 rad/s
∵ linear velocity = angular velocity × length of minute hand
= π/1800 × 10 cm= π/180 cm/sec
