Solution,

The fractions are:

$\dfrac{-1}{2}and\dfrac{-3}{4}$

→ As the denominators are different, we have to find the LCM and make the denominator same.

LCM of 2 and 4 = 4

Equivalating the denominators,

$\dfrac{-2}{4},\dfrac{-3}{4}$

→ We won't be able to find 4 rational numbers between these fractions as the numerators are -2 and -3. Therefore we have to expand the fractions by multiplying them with 10.

$\dfrac{-2}{4}\times10=\dfrac{-20}{40}$

$\dfrac{-3}{4}\times10=\dfrac{-30}{40}$
