Answer:

You can find 5 rational number easily by 2/1 * 6/6 =12/6 ,3/1* 6/6 =18/6 = 13/6,14/6,15/6,16/6,17/6 are these 5 numbers between 2 and 3 you can find infinite number between any two number by multiplying the numerator and denominator by same number or in another where the denominator are not same you make the denominator same .3 months ago2 votes

Step-by-step explanation:

To find any number of rational number, first we have to do same denominator for both rational number. Here The denominators are same but there is small space between -1 and 1, We can't write 4 numbers between them so we will expand both rational number.

 \frac{ - 1}{4} = \frac{ - 1 \times 3}{4 \times 3} = \frac{ - 3}{12} \\ \frac{1}{4} = \frac{1 \times 3}{4 \times 3} = \frac{3}{12} \\

Now denominators are same and their are more than four numbers between -3 and 3

so

four rational number between -1/4 and 1/4 =

 \frac{ - 2}{12} \: . \: \frac{ - 1}{12} \: . \: \frac{1}{12} \: . \: \frac{2}{12} \\

Hope it helps.
