SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

The three rational number between

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{2}{3}  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \:  \frac{5}{6} }

EVALUATION

Here the given two rational numbers are

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{2}{3}  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \:  \frac{5}{6} }

The denominators are 3 and 6

We first make them with same denominators

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{2}{3}  =  \frac{2 \times 2}{3 \times 2}  =  \frac{4}{6} }

Now

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{2}{3} =  \frac{4}{6} =  \frac{40}{60}  }

 \displaystyle \sf{  \frac{5}{6} =  \frac{50}{60}  }

Hence the required three rational numbers are

 \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{41}{60}  \: , \:  \frac{43}{60} \:,  \:  \frac{47}{60}    }
