(i) 2 = 2 / 1 = 2 x 5 / 1 x 5 = 10 / 5

3 = 3 / 1 = 3 x 5 / 1 x 5 = 15 / 5

Rational numbers between 2 and 3 are =

11 / 5 , 12 / 5 , 13 / 5

(ii)-2 = -2 / 1 = -2 x 5 / 1 x 5 = -10 / 5

10 / 5 1 = 1/ 1 = 1 x 5 / 1 x 5 = 5 / 5

/ 5 Rational numbers between -2 and 1 are =

6 / 5 , 7/ 5 , 8 / 5
