Answer:

1 )

area of triangle = 1/2 × 12×30

                          = 180 cm²

area of trapezium = 1/2 h(a+b)

                              = 1/2 × 15 ( 30 + 24 )

                              = 1/2 × 15 × 44

                              = 330 cm²

total area = 330 + 180

                = 510 cm²

2 ) Since it is a regular hexagon , we split it into 2 triangles and 1 rectangle

The area if both riangles are same so we will find the area of one of them and multiply with 2

area of triangle = 1/2 × 40 × 15

                          = 300 cm²

area of 2 triangles = 600 cm²

area of rectangle = 28 × 40

                             = 1120 cm²

total area = 1120 + 600

                = 1720 cm²

Hope it helped and please mark as brainliest:)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

area of BCDE

= 1/2(CD+BE)15

= 1/2(24+30)15

= 1/2(54)(15)

= 355 cm2

area of ABE

1/2(b)(h)

= 1/2(30)(12)

= 180 cm2

therefore total area is 535 cm2.

2.

area of PRTU

= l*b

= 40*28

= 1120 cm2

area of PQU = area of RST

= 1/2*b*h

= 1/2*40*15

= 300 cm2

therefore the total area is 1420 cm2.
