find area...... in my book the answer given is 301m^2.... but how to find its area I don't know... so please solve this

mate, u can just divide the figure into 3 known figures that is-
a small rectangle on top, then making a trapezium by join the lines parallely to the bottom ones..and the left of the figure will be a rectangle again...
now, u may find the area of rectangles using the formula length×breadth....and then area of the trapezium we just made, by the formula...1/2 (sum of parallel sied) ×height....

Answer: 301 sq.m


Step-by-step explanation:


The figure given is divided into two rectangles and a triangle. And rest of the lengths are calculated. Check the picture attached.


Area of rectangle 1 = 25 × 6 = 150 m^2

            " 2.              = 10 × 13.5 = 135 m^2

Area of triangle.     =  1/2 × 4 × 8 = 16 m^2

Total area.               =  150 + 135 + 16 = 301 m^2
