area of the triangle ACD=1/2*base*height

=1/2*3*8

12 sq. cm

area of parallelogram=2*areaofACD

=2(12)

=24sq. cm

Area of ACD=1/2 ×b×h

=1/2×8×3

= 4×3

=12 cm²

Area of whole parallelogram=2×area OF ACD

=2×12

=24cm²
