We need to get the length of the rhombus

A rhombus has four equal sides.

The perimeter is :

5l where l is the length of the sides.

We want l:

5l = 36

l = 36/5 = 7.2

The length of the sides is thus 7.2cm

Area is:

A = length × altitude (height)

= 7.2 × 5= 31 cm²
