To Find  :  area of a sector of circle

Solution:

Let say arc central angle = α  in radian

Arc length = (α / 2π)  2π * r

r = radius of circle = 7cm

=> (α / 2π)  2π * 7  = 10

=> 7α = 10

=> α = 10/7

Area of Sector = (α / 2π) π * r²

=> Area of Sector = (10/7*2π) π * 7²

=> Area of Sector = 5 * 7

=> Area of Sector = 35 cm²
