Formula for finding area of a trapezium is. 1/2(a+b)h

a and b are the two parallel sides

Therefore a+b= 1.5+1.2= 2.7m

Perpendicular distance between the two sides refers to height of the trapezium .

h= 0.7m

On substituting on the formula ...

½ × 2.7×0.7

=0.945m²
