Perimetre of a ∆ = side + side + side

Let third side = x

10 + 5 + x = 20

15 + x = 20

x = 20 - 15

x = 5

Third side = 5 cm

Area of ∆ = 10 x 5 x 1/2

= 50 x 1/2

= 25 cm^2
