Given the radius of the circle r = 7cm

Now, the area of the circle is = π × r^2

= 22/7 × 7^2

= 154 cm^2

Hope it's helpful... ^_^

Before, finding the answer. Let's find out how we can find the answer.

  • In this question, we are asked to find the Area. So to find the area of the circle, we must use the formula of :

\boxed{\sf Area \: of \: Cirlce = \pi  r^2}

  • Where we have to multiply pi, twice of radius together.
  • And here, we are taking pi as :

\sf \pi = \dfrac{22}{7}

Given :

  • Radius = 7 cm

To find :

  • Area of circle

Solution :

We know that,

\sf \dasharrow Area \: of \: Circle = \pi r^2

                          \sf =  \dfrac{22}{7} \times (7)^2

                          \sf =  \dfrac{22}{7} \times 49 \:  [7 \times 7 = 49]

                          \sf =  \dfrac{22 \times 49 }{7}

                          \sf =  \dfrac{1078}{7}

                          \sf = 154 cm^2

Therefore, the Area of the circle is 154 cm².
