Answer:

diameter = 60

radius =30cm

area of circle =πr, ^2

= π 30*30

= 22/7 * 30*30

=2828.6

Given :

  • The diαmeter of the circle is 60cm.

To Find :

  • Areα of the circle.

Knowledge Required :

\large\star{\boxed{\sf{\orange{ Area_{(circle)} = \pi r^{2}}}}}

  • Where π = 3.14 or 22/7 αnd r = rαdius.

\large\star{\boxed{\sf{\orange{ Radius = \dfrac{Diameter}{2}}}}}

Solution :

Firstly we need to find the rαdius.

To do so, we will divide the diameter by 2.

\longrightarrow{\sf{ Radius = \dfrac{60cm}{2}}}

\longrightarrow{\sf{ Radius = 30cm}}

  • Now, Substitute the vαlues in the formulαe of αreα of circle.

\implies{\sf{ 3.14 \times (30cm)^{2}}}

\implies{\sf{ 3.14 \times 30cm\times 30cm}}

\large\implies{\boxed{\sf{\red{ 2826cm^{2}}}}}

Hence, the αreα of the circle is 2826 cm².

And we αre done! :)
