Given

L=6cm

TO find

Area of the cube

For this, we can just simply use the basic mathematical equation of square

The steps to find the area of a square is as follows

We know that the area of the  square is 6a^{2}----------- equation 1

also known as the t.s.a of the square that is nothing but (total surface area)

so we have "a" or l= 6cm

so 6*6^{2} =  6*36= 216cm^{2}

so we obtain that the area of the cube of side 6cm is 216cm^{2}

Extra tip or point

we can also write the equation for square as (6*a*a) it is absolutely the same
