Area of quadrilateral =   114 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Data is not sufficient to find Area

Assuming AB = 12 cm

Area of ΔABD  = (1/2) AB * AD

= (1/2) * 12 *  9

= 54 cm²

BD² = AB² + AD²

=> BD² = 12² + 9²

=> BD² = 144 + 81

=> BD² = 225

=> BD = 15 cm

in Δ CBD

sides are

17cm , 8 cm & 15 cm

S = (17 + 8 + 15)/2 = 20cm

Area of  Δ CBD = √20(20 -17)(20 - 8)(20 - 15)

= √20  * 3  * 12  *  5

=√ 5 * 4 * 3 * 3 * 4 * 5

= 3 * 4 * 5

= 60

Area of quadrilateral = 54 + 60 = 114 cm²
